When an architect undertakes a project, he sees the vision from beginning to end. He understands what the designers need to design, what the engineers need to do, how the builders need to build it. The look, form and function of the project is his responsibility and he is not without extraordinary skill. He can see the project from the eyes of everyone working on it. Though there may be many hands required, somebody must keep the vision clear to take it from concept to reality. That person is the architect.
